Samsung One UI 7 Update Rolls Out in India – Full List of Eligible Galaxy Phones

Earlier this week, Samsung began rolling out One UI 7, beginning with South Korea, its home nation. The company's devices from the previous year, including the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6, can now get the new software update. In India, eligible users are now receiving Samsung's latest update, which is based on Android 15.

Users in India and a number of other markets, including Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Austria, South Africa, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Mexico, Brazil, and Russia, will soon be able to access the One UI 7 update, according to Samsung. According to Samsung, the update will begin rolling out in some areas on April 10 and in the remaining markets on April 14.

The latest One UI 7 update, which is based on Android 15, adds more AI capabilities along with other system enhancements. Some of these enhancements were influenced by iOS; for example, Now Bar and Now Brief have the same appearance as Live Activities and Dynamic Island features on iOS. Located at the bottom of the screen, the Now Bar is a pill-shaped card that shows real-time information about the music that is currently playing, flight information, navigation, and delivery updates from partner apps like Zomato.

With new tools that can not only remove distractions from photos but also replace them with real-world objects, the Galaxy AI in One UI 7 has grown more powerful. Additionally, Samsung has included AI Select, which enables users to pick a section of the screen and then apply different tools to it.

In addition to these devices, Samsung will roll out One UI 7 to phones such as the Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Tab S10.

How to download and install One UI 7 update

Go to Settings and then head to Software update. The new update should appear on the screen. Now, tap Download and install to start downloading the update. After the update is downloaded, tap Install now to begin the installation process. The smartphone will reboot after the installation is complete.
